Hard Rock Hallelujah

It was 2006 and the Finnish rock band Lordi had just won the Eurovision Song Contest. I was twelve, there were still some crisps left in the bowl and life was great. After that, me and everyone I knew were screaming Hard Rock Hallelujah at the top of our lungs while doing the sign of the horns, extending the index and little fingers up in the sky. There’s no doubt that the song was (and remains) an absolute banger, but it was Lordi’s costumes that really brought that wow factor, you know… 17 years later Lordi are still on tour, sharpening their claws. Would you love a monsterman? I would, I do.
